I just moved from California to Vegas and they told me my rent would be a certain amount when I came in to sign my lease it was 100 dollars more than they told me they made a mistake on my rent portion and told me not to pay the 1581 until they figured it out I gave them 1500 they were supposed to tell me what the remaining balance was and they never did they than put a letter on my door talking about I have 3 days to pay 81 dollars or I’ll get evicted I paid it by the time the next month I owed them 1732 and they couldn’t properly explain to me where all the fees came from

Current resident with a long review .This place was okay before the management replacement . In the year we lived here with the original management we never had a problem . Since the switch it's been issue after issue . 5 months later they still don't have online payments set up like they had before , they've been saying the entire time that they don't know when that function will be available . When you've been paying online for a year & suddenly have to find a way to get money orders instead with no warning , it can complicate your situation . Just a few days ago we were finally told that online payments should be available next month . The water gets shut off a couple of times a month with no warning because of "emergencies" & the office staff apparently have no way at all to let any of the residents know that an emergency is happening . The last time it was shut off from 1:30PM to 10:15PM . If your children & pregnant self all have the stomach flu with no running water for 9 hours & no head's up at all , that can be annoying . If you get a late notice because it's difficult to get money orders , they will not include any fees on the notice . The amount they put on the notice is NOT correct , so after going to get a money order for that amount they'll surprise you with fees so you need to get another money order . If that causes you more late fees and an overdraft charge , OH WELL . We did that for a few months , thinking they wouldn't keep doing it, but they did . Last month I called ahead of time to get the actual amount & spent 10 minutes on the phone convincing the person I spoke to that I had really been living in & paying rent for my apartment for almost a year & a half . They asked me 4 times if I was one of the past residents ( a few different names ) who have lived here before us & double checked my name every time . Then told me they couldn't find the information in the system & to try the next day . LATE FEE . I've lost my patience with all the extra money their unorganized office has cost my family & them never being able to answer any question I ask . I asked how I can file a complaint with the property manager & they told me they couldn't give me that information . It's public information on their website but they couldn't tell me . Then told me to look it up myself & gave me the wrong company name . Which is funny because it's also right there on the website . When I found & called the management company & asked how to file a complaint they told me what to do so easily . This place is also completely filled with children . Most of the residents are families . There is no safe place for them to play & management leaves broken glass & trash all over the property for days . One of the kids fell on some & had to get stitches in their hand . Other residents I've spoken to have been complaining for months . Management just doesn't care about the residents at all . They raise the rent & income qualifications far beyond what the apartments are worth ( no screens on the windows , fake wood stickers peeling off the floors , broken dirty blinds , etc ) & make everything harder for the people who live here . And most of the people who live here can't say anything because it's a second chance place so they don't have anywhere else to go . This management company should be ashamed of themselves . The manager herself has been nice when I've spoken to her & it's not a personal problem , it's just the way things are run that's an issue . Just be careful if you're considering this place because it might make your life even harder . Update 1 year later : don't trust these people.
